Nikki Goeser is the Executive Director of the Crime Prevention Research Center and the author of “Stalked And Defenseless: How Gun Control Helped My Stalker Murder My Husband in Front of Me.” She recently wrote a piece at Town Hall discussing how the justice system has not only failed people of color but people of all races, and why we should all care about criminal justice reform and the systemic failures in the justice system that often leave crime victims helpless.
