The Feds recently paused use of the Johnson and Johnson one shot Covid vaccine due to a dangerous blood clot problem. To be fair, it’s a very tiny number of cases in a very large number of doses. But this is the exact reason why people should be allowed to make their own choice about taking such a new vaccine with a new technology that this story proves we still have more to learn about. Even if the risk is minuscule (and it is) we should respect people’s sovereignty over their own bodies.
