Been wondering where you all were (someone forwarded me one of your podcasts), and great to see Cameron onboard. Ironically, our daughter and I (current student & alumna respectively), just watched the 1996 & 1998 Final Four games over the weekend. Had the opportunity to tell her Cameron’s story, and to hammer the point that you’ll never have excellence without experience (not a Cal fan), but I digress. 🙂

The virus isn’t shutting down the economy, governments are…even when the numbers/variables/constants remain ambiguous. Responsible people are doing responsible things: supporting our vulnerable, good hygiene/diet, distancing and (for us) prayer, and unfortunately if you want people to be free to do the right thing, they have to be free to do the wrong thing. Some can laud the encroachment of government all they want, but those who know non-revisionist history, know the perils of that encroachment, and that govt action as of late, are those of which dystopian novels are composed, lol. #JustSayin

My guess is that a global economic summit will convene when this is over; what happens there will be most telling, and as usual, the devil will be in the hidden details.
